The ID. Buzz is a fully electric van, and you will soon be able to drive one around the Tri-County area. If the ID. Buzz looks familiar, that's because its design is inspired by the legendary Volkswagen Type 2, better known as the Microbus. With its striking appearance and electric efficiency, the ID. Buzz offers a truly unique EV experience.
What are the ID. Buzz Specs?
The ID. Buzz is powered by an 86.0-kWh battery pack, which connects to either a single rear-mounted motor or two motors, one front and one rear. Rear-wheel drive models produce 282 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque. All-wheel drive models have the same amount of torque, but produce up to 330 horsepower. While we do not yet know the exact driving range of the electric van, Volkswagen estimates that you can charge the battery from 10 percent to 80 percent in about 30 minutes when you use a DC fast charging station.
What are Some Notable Features?
The ID. Buzz can fit up to seven passengers, making it a great option for families or drivers who carpool regularly in Cincinnati. The ample interior of the van makes it an excellent choice for transporting cargo as well. The infotainment system includes a 12-inch central touchscreen display. The standard safety system is powered by Volkswagen's IQ.Drive suite of driver assistance features.
